Bio:

Celestine’s earliest memories are bright with joy, surrounded by family; parents and siblings. Until the dark day that slavers imprisoned her and her kin. She was only a small child, sold from place to place.

Her fair complexion marks her as a Northerner. Ending up in the city of Cauldron she was forced to work in the brothels as a dancer.

One night a rich merchant bought her. He prepared her to be sacrificed in a dark ritual on the shores of Crater Lake. As she lay on the cold slab of stone, bound and pleading not to have her throat cut, she cried out. A shining light as bright as the sun engulfed her and brightened the dark night. This attracted the attention of a passing Priest of Sarenrae.

The Cleric intervened in the dark ritual, freeing Celestine and driving off the participants. She was given refuge in the Sun Temple.

The Cleric, explaining that she had received divine intervention from the Goddess, offered a life much different than a slave dancer. It was still a life of service, but not service forced with the slavers’ whip.

Celestine chose to enter service of the Healing Light, teaching compassion and peace. But to those who have no interest in redemption, who glory in slaughter and death, she strikes to bring the Dawnflower’s swift justice.
